Hi, my name is Rodney Brown. I own and operate Tactical Laser Tag out of my home office. For twenty years I managed small businesses for other companies. When my kids got into sports I did a lot of coaching, then eventually owned, managed, and coached some semi-pro sports teams.  I started Tactical Laser Tag in 2005 with my two teenage boys. After a couple years it became a full time business for me, enabling me to operate events on most days of the year.

I am currently the only Game Master but I cover a wide area.  I have run thousands of successful parties and events.  

Maximizing The Fun

In the first three years of Tactical Laser Tag we tested every possible game type many times. Eventually, we settled on the games that are always fun with every group of players, in practically every environment. As Game Master I have all the experience necessary to choose the appropriate game type at the proper time. The fact that I don't run other game types is a great benefit to our customers. I don't take chances with the success of your party or event. That's one reason why our customers are always happy with our service.  The game types I run provide so much more action packed laser tag play than other providers that players will get more than enough laser tag fun in a shorter amount of time. Even if you have twice as many players as I can accommodate at a time, they will still get much more, and better laser tag play than the elimination style games of other laser tag operators.

Focus On Safety

From the very beginning of our business I have had a heavy focus on safety. I know it's hard to have great fun if you get hurt. Not only do I cover safety rules with every participant, I actively supervise the games and take care of safety issues promptly. 

Online Booking

I have used the online booking system effectively for many years because it not only streamlines the process, it also greatly reduces any chance of mistakes or misunderstandings.  Most customers are able to check the availability calendar and submit booking forms and deposits/payments without having to contact me first. If you do need to contact me I find that email is the most productive. Phone tag often delays your booking, sometimes allowing someone else to take your preferred time slot.  Email also provides a reference to everything discussed to eliminate miscommunication.

16 Player Maximum

Though I have done events in the past with as many as 40 players in action at one time, I now restrict the parties and events to just 16 players in play. I have found this to be a good number for everyone to have the most fun in a safe way. I'd rather every player have a fantastic time during their turn than simply process a large number players for the sake of perceived value.  
I only bring 16 units to each party and group event. I do not accommodate more than 16 players at a time in any circumstance.
